Dollface is being a pansy

And I'm finding it really hard to keep seeing the bright side, especially when it always turns its cheek. And I don't think today is a good day, to start admitting that I think I may have failed, but I'm looking at the way things are moving, and something's out of line. So I'm hoping that it's all a setup, the punch line is going to show: it's when the universe throws a fire my way.

Then I will burn every bad memory I've ever had the displeasure to know.

I would have loved to do an outfit photo today, yet I am awaiting a very lovely cloche hat that's coming in the mail and I just could not wait any longer to discuss the one and only Mr. Samuel James. He's an amazing bluesman with a soulful voice and great style. And tell me the truth, have you ever met a bluesman with tattoos? I just love it. I was turned on to him by a certain someone special who happens to be friends with him and is an even bigger fan. My absolute favorite song is "Baby-Doll" but I also love the instrumental "Wooooo Rosa!" which is named after Sam's adorable belly-dancing girlfriend, Rosa. Listen, enjoy, repeat.

After being so inspired by so many lovely young ladies, I have decided I would love the chance to maybe inspire someone. I suppose I'm paying it forward. So let me introduce myself...my name is Michelle. I like long walks on the beach, pina coladas, and the Mighty Boosh. I like you. I like your mom. I love the following: the 1920's-50's, sweater clips, cardigans, old record players, Zelda Fitzgerald, the poetry of Lord Byron, punk rock, and waking up every day. I fancy myself an old lady on the inside. I don't currently do much but I will have a very fun job at Kohl's soon so I swear on Elvis I will post some pretty little outfit photos =]. It's pretty super late right now and well, the Golden Girls just came on so I have to be off! Toodles loves, I can't wait to know you.
